Are my files uploaded or stored anywhere?
No. merge.zip runs entirely in your browser. Your files never leave your browser. Our service uses browser rendered version of JSZip to manage and process your files.
What file types can I merge?
You can combine any file types from documents and images to videos or ZIP archives. With archives (.zip, .tar.gz, .7zip, etc...) you can specify specific items from within those archives without having to extract those files.
Which browsers are supported?
merge.zip works best in modern browsers like Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari. Internet Explorer is not supported.
Does merge.zip compress my files?
Files are combined into a ZIP container without compression for maximum speed. You can manually compress later if you prefer.
